The Last Prophet of God i.e. Muhammad (May peace and blessings be upon him)

This blog is dedicated to the last Prophet of God i.e. Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the greatest man that has ever lived on this planet, God Almighty testifies to it, the Jew testifies, the Christian testifies it and the Hindu testifies it too, as we shall shortly be seeing. He is also prophesied in the various world religious scriptures. He prophesied many things 1400 years ago which today have come True. All these evidences prove that he is indeed a True Prophet of God and a mercy to the whole of human kind. Accept him and his teachings and be benefitted

"We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not." (Quran 34:28)

The Quran says

If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).(Quran 3:85)

Honorable Position of Jesus Christ and Mother Mary (Peace be upon them) in Islam

By Shais

Lets see the honorable position of Mother Mary and Jesus Christ (pbut) in Islam.

Mother Mary (pbuh)

First we shall see of Mother Mary (peace be upon her).

Surah Maryam

The Glorious Quran has a separate chapter in the honor of Mother Mary (pbuh). The name of the chapter is “Surah Maryam” meaning “Chapter Mary”. It is the 19th chapter of the Holy Quran. In the Quran, there is not chapter in the honor of the mother of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) but the Holy Quran has a chapter in the honor of the mother Jesus (pbuh). Furthermore, There is no book in the Bible by the name “Mary” out of the 66 books of the Protestants and 73 books of the Catholics.

Mary chosen above the women of all nations

The Holy Quran says

“Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee- chosen thee above the women of all nations.(Quran 3:42)

Such an honor to mother Mary is not to be found in the Christian Bible even nor is such an honor given to the mother of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) or any other lady in the Quran!

Woman of Truth

The Quran says

Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!” (Quran 5:75)

The word used in this verse is “Siddiqa” meaning “a truthful woman’ ‘a virtuous woman’ ‘a saintly woman’ ‘a pious woman’

A Sign For The People

The Quran says

“And We made the son of Mary and his mother as a Sign: We gave them both shelter on high ground, affording rest and security and furnished with springs.” (Quran 23:50)

Guarded her chastity

The Holy Quran defends Mother Mary (pbuh) against the false charges of the Jews

“And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity…” (Quran 66:12)

A Devout worshipper of God

And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).” (Quran 66:12)

There is NOT a single verse in the Holy Quran which in anyway disrespects Mother Mary. The Quran honors mother Mary (pbuh)!

Jesus Christ (pbuh)

Now we’ll look at the honorable position of Jesus Christ (pbuh) in Islam.

Islam is the only non-Christian faith which makes it an article of faith for its followers to believe in Jesus Christ (pbuh). A Muslim seizes to be a Muslim if he denies Jesus (pbuh).

We Believe that he was one of the mightiest messengers of Almighty God to whom was revealed the Injil (gospel), we believe that he was the Messiah translated Christ. We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission and we believe that he healed those born blind and lepers with God’s permission.

We also believe in his virgin birth which many modern day Christians including the Bishops of the Anglican Church deny but we Muslims believe.

Today about 1.5 billion Muslims in the world believe and revere Jesus Christ (pbuh) only on the testimony of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

We also believe in his second coming.

His titles in the Quran

A righteous Prophet (Quran 6:85)

The word of Allah (Quran 3:45)

The Messiah (Christ) (Quran 3:45)

Jesus the son of Mary (Quran 3:45)

Spirit of Allah (Quran 4:171)

Born to a virgin (Quran 3:42-47)

Messenger to the Children of Israel i.e. The Jews (Quran 3:49)

Sign to the people (Quran 23:50)

The righteous (Quran 3:46)

In the company of those nearest to God (Quran 3:45)

Even after such an honor to Jesus Christ (pbuh) and Mother Mary (pbuh), I have seen people accusing Muslims of being anti-Christ.

His first miracle

In the Bible

In the Bible his first miracle is converting water into wine. We find this in the Gospel of John 2:1-10

In The Quran

His first miracle in the Holy Quran is speaking as an infant from his mother’s arms. Thus he defended his mother against the unbelieving audience who accused her of adultery. This is found in Surah Maryam

27. At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!

28. "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"

29. But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"

30. He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah. He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet; (Quran 19:27-30)

Which miracle of the two you would like to attribute to Jesus, the one in which he defended his mother or converting water into wine (something that has destroyed millions of human beings in history). You be the judge

Addressing his mother

In the Quran Jesus addresses his mother in the following manner.

In verse 32 of Surah Maryam, after Mary (pbuh) brings him to the people. Jesus says

30. He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah. He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

31. "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

32. "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable; “ (Quran 19:30-32)

Jesus (pbuh) in the Quran calls his mother as “mother”

But in the Bible at marriage feast at Cana when his mother commands him to convert water into wine. He says

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come” (John 2:4)

The same word woman he uses for an adulteress in John 8:10.

Which way do you think Jesus (pbuh) would have addressed his mother, as “woman” or as “mother”? There is in fact no place in the entire Holy Bible where Jesus calls his mother “mother”
